The lights are dim and the door creaks behind you as you sneak into the haunted manor. A few crooked paintings are on the wall, a mousehole or two are along the baseboards, and the draperies seem more cobweb than cloth. And beyond just the creepy nature of the place, there seems to be a lingering sense of foreboding. You can either continue forward, deeper into the house - you think you see a foyer ahead, through the doorway - or scurry back out to safety.
