Deciding that it is better to be safe than sorry, with only a little reluctance you continue toward the shopping centre, rather than attempting to follow the four girls. Right before you turn the corner, you give a final glance over your shoulder, but they've already passed out of your line of sight. At this point, even with an infusion of curiosity-fueled bravery, there's no way you could track them down.

With that recent 'battle' still in your mind though, both anime and manga seem a pale substitute at the moment and the store was all out of the model kit you really wanted - a Stardusty VF-3k. Leaving the stores empty handed, you discover a competition underway on the game you wanted to try, and watching other people fight martial artist monsters just isn't as fun as doing it yourself.

Several hours 'wasted' later, you return for home, another day of summer vacation over. A boring and mostly wasted day, to be sure, other than that brief moment of excitement. You know that if you don't write it down, the girls are going to haunt your thoughts tonight, especially the ultra-cute one in white and silver, but then again, you are rather tired.
