Ever more slowly now, you continue toward the light, now no longer a pinprick on the horizon, but ever more larger now that you are drawing nigh the end of the tunnel. Wherever you 'body' is, it lies battered and broken, and returning to it would mean returning to pain, and forsaking the comfort and warmth of the light ahead.

What you aren't aware of is that the four girls are gathered around your body: one crying, one comforting, and the other two trying their best to keep you alive. Your sacrifice provided them with the opportunity to win the fight - but it was that, a sacrifice.

As you step out of the tunnel and into the light, your body convulses once, and then breathes its last, the ties that bound your immortal soul to your mortal body completely severed. Peace awaits you now, for a while, until it is once more your time to return to the wheel of life.
