You make it home without further incident, deciding not to chance encountering the five again. And with that, your part in this play of fates seems to have drawn to a close. Dreams that night seem to focus on the four and the five, with occasional odd interludes having something to do with porcelain, feather dusters, and fans.

While you never encounter the four girls again - something you occasionally lament as you recall the face of the girl in silver and white - you do have several near misses: leaving a restaurant five minutes before it is attacked, stumbling across a charred battlefield in the town park scant minutes after they had fought there, and even occasionally glimpses out of the corner of your eye.

But while it may be regrettable that you never again meet the girls, fortunately you also never again encounter the dark coterie and their minions either.

Though you live a long and generally fulfilling life, you can't help but deal with the frequent bouts of wistfulness, and of wandering if you couldn't've been something more.
