Though it pains you to do so, you ignore the bullies and the cat, figuring the animal might belong to one of the boys and that it isn't your place to get involved. You quietly back away before the kids notice you, and continue searching for the girls.

You don't have any luck finding the girls in the park, and your conscience bothers you the whole time you search. Eventually, you have to head back to where you saw the cat being bullied, to see if maybe it is still going on and you can help the cat this time...

When you get there, though, the boys are gone, and the cat...

...well, the cat is dead.

Dejected, and disappointed in yourself, you head home, not sure if you could face the girls after having let a cat be bullied to death.
