Deciding that at least one of the four girls is bound to notice the monster circling around behind them, you decide to remain quiet and continue watching. After all, if one of the monsters decided to come after you in retribution, it would definitely be bad for you, and likely make it harder for the girls to fight -- if they have to worry about protecting an innocent.

Unfortunately, while you're looking out for 'number one,' it seems the monsters did gain the advantage on the girls, with that wicked metal fan swiping at the butch girl's back, effectively taking her out of the fight.

In the resultant confusion - concern for their fallen ally - and the odds now much more against them, the remaining girls are quickly defeated - and with a twinge of guilt, you doubt the one in blue can survive the wounds she took.

As the monsters gather around the fallen four, the girl in red - who seems to control fiery attacks - somehow manages to tap into an inner reserve, gathering power around her.... The villains don't notice until it is too late, and she release all that mystical power in a fiery nova, incinerating everything around her: friends, foes, and ... unfortunately, you.

While the monsters may have been defeated by her final strike, they were but minions in the forces of darkness, and the forces of light lost their champions today. While you won't be around to suffer under the coterie's dark yoke, you head toward judgement knowing that your actions - or rather inactions - brought about this calamity. Your last thought as you body burns away is a wish that if there is reincarnation, that you be reborn as someone who can help the four girls when they themselves are reborn.
